Tasting Notes ...
RED WINE - VAUCLUSE - RHÔNE VALLEY - FRANCE
The colour is dark yet pure with a secretive, yet charming nose; a lot of charm. One may find it difficult to chose the most appropriate term to describe this wine, but that doesn’t matter as you’re quickly sedued. One can sense its well rounded character, confirmed by a rich and suave palate offering a certain level of sweetness; it’s not sugar per se, but simply a sweet impression as with certain women’s perfumes. The taste is refreshing with a very light acidic touch, which excites one’s taste buds and curiosity... It’s a Merlot, a pleasurable, supple, unctuous and round wine with an enchanting finish. Opening it a few hours before serving will allow it to fully express itself.
Accompaniment: Flatter it with a deli meats, a flank steak in shallots or a delicious Normandy Camembert. To be enjoyed between 15 °C and 18 °C.
