Crème de Cassis from Burgundy Trénel has a deep, frank and brilliant purple color with very beautiful purplish reflections. It expresses magnificent fruit and a lot of finesse both on the nose and on the palate. Gourmet, it evokes the aromatic purity of blackcurrant. The perfect balance between sugar, acidity and alcohol leaves plenty of room for the fruit and gives it great fullness.
Consumption and service
The association with a Mâcon Villages Trénel makes it a velvety aperitif, where the flavors blossom pleasantly in the mouth.
Serve chilled on a bed of crushed ice.
In cooking, it will be used as a coulis, on cottage cheese, vanilla ice cream or red fruit or mango sorbets.
As a cocktail, mix 2 cl of Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne Trénel with 4 cl of tequila and 2 crushed lime wedges. Serve as a long drink with ice cubes and top with ginger ale.
Preservative-free fruit creams. After opening, store in the fridge.
