    Lagavulin Distillers Edition has been refined in second-ripening Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels which contained a wine made with sun-dried raisins, with intense flavors. Masterfully chosen for its grapey sweetness, it magically accentuates and deepens every aspect of Lagavulin's rich and intense character.

    Nose: balanced, warm. Opens with remarkable notes of smoked barley and citrus (orange).

    Mouth: powerful, ashy and mellow. Notes of quince, apple jelly. Licorice, fatty, almost chocolatey peat. Very Peaty

    Finish: very smoky and peaty. Licorice. Fruity (apricot). Ashes, fireplace. Nuts (sherry influence). Traces of iodine and salt.
