    A true tribute to the symbol of Wales (the dragon), the Penderyn Legend is the ideal introduction to the first Welsh whiskey distillery. Fully aged in bourbon barrels, this single malt spent a few more months in Madeira barrels giving it sweet and fruity notes. The red dragon, present in many folk tales, is also represented on the national flag of Wales as well as the motto "Y dddraig goch ddyry cychwy", or "The red dragon inspires action". Nestled near the Brecon Beacons National Park, Penderyn's single malts draw their gentle and subtle character from the meeting between a unique distillation technique carried out with custom-made Faraday stills and a very particular art of maturation, the fruit of the expertise of Dr Jim Swan and perpetuated since 2018 by master distiller Aista Phillips.

    Nose: Aromas of fresh apple and citrus fruits mixed with caramel and raisins

    Taste: Incredibly sweet, with an abundance of fresh fruit and dried fruit

    Finish: Delicate and sweet, with a touch of bitterness to spice it all up
