Lirac in the southern Rhone Valley is better known for hearty reds, but this dry, zesty white is very classy. Made mainly with Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Picpoul varieties it has attractive wild flower aromas and subtle flavours of apple and pear. Great as an aperitif or a versatile partner to seafood.
