Tasting Notes
Colour: Violet black colour.
Nose: Complex and aromatic aromas of violet, cocoa, roasted coffee beans and black berry notes.
Palate: Rich aromas of blackberry brandy, toffee, smoked ham, and toasted coconut with a silky, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a layered, blackberry crème brulee, pistachio nougat, and baking spices accented finish with chewy tannins.
Food pairing: Best served at 17°C, with grilled rib eye and T-bone steak meat, stew, game, pasta, game and soft cheeses. A seamless, meaty red for all occasions; will be sensational with ham. |
