Tasting Notes ...
RED WINE - CÔTES DU VENTOUX - RHÔNE VALLEY
................MAGNUM 150 cl of VENTOUX LES TRAVERSES............
The name of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné’s Côtes du Ventoux “Les Traverses” comes from the walls which support the earth and protect it from the significant erosion in this region, where a strong wind, the Mistral, blows throughout the year.
It has a deep garnet with violet hues. Its nose shows notes of tart red berries, with a final note of pepper and liquorice.
On the palate it is powerful, fresh and well-balanced.
Serving suggestion:
Perfect with a Cassolette of black pudding with cinnamon, a Steak tartare, or also with a Mignon de porc in a sweet and sour sauce
Serve at 15°-17°C.
Best enjoyed within 5 to 10 years. |
