RED WINE - RIOJA - SPAIN

Grapes: Tempranillo 92%, Mazuelo 8%

Its colour is bright, intense cherry-red with a tawny rim. This Rioja from the prestigious Bodega Faustino has intense aromas, with fine toasty notes from the oak and hints of red berries against a light background of stewed fruit. Notes of vanilla and spices contributed by the oak during cask ageing. On the palate, it is round, velvety and meaty with a lovely integration of the sweet tannins from the grapes and those from the wood, resulting in a smooth yet robust wine.

Serving suggestion:
Serve at 18°-19°C.
Can be kept up to 20 years, but best after 7 to 9 years - ageing in optimum conditions.
